STRUCTOVIS HD is a special range of mineral oil based lubricants with different viscosity grades. STRUCTOVIS types AHD to EHD, BHD MF and BHD 75 S contain special adhesion improvers, and BHD MF type solid lubricant MoS2 is used to improve emergency lubrication performance. STRUCTOVIS BHD 75 S contains flammable solvents. All STRUCTOVIS HD types offer good wear and corrosion protection. The STRUCTOVIS type, which provides an adhesion improver, is highly adhesive, thus greatly reducing the risk of contamination due to oil leakage, especially at high chain speeds. The higher viscosity (AHD to CHD) of the STRUCTOVIS type also reduces chain noise.

STRUCTOVIS HD lubricants are used in drive, control and conveyor chains. STRUCTOVIS BHD and BHD 75 S have proven to be particularly effective for chain manufacturers&＃39; initial lubrication of steel chains.

Application Note

Depending on the viscosity, STRUCTOVIS HD can be applied via a drip or automatic lubrication system, oil supply or brush. When using an automated system, please observe the maximum viscosity specified by the manufacturer. If the chain manufacturer uses STRUCTOVIS BHD, we recommend a bath temperature between 80 and 90 °C. The low viscosity HD type (up to 460mm2/s at 40°C) and the BHD 75S (also comply with the safety data sheet) can also be used in the cold bath process. The chain should remain in the bath until there are no more bubbles rising on the surface.
